Project Risk Analysis is a Project Management tool. This program helps to predict and evaluate the cost of a project and prevent the risks of underfunding. It allows you to choose the type of distribution for each record: triangular, normal or LogNormal. These types of distributions provide certain percentage below and above the likely cost, defining a certain range of costs wherein a record is not compromised or in risk.
This program can import project information from ASCII files. Apart from calculating project's totals, it performs analyses providing an Overall Cost Distribution graph and a Cumulative Probability graph - both these graphs can be printed for future reference. The program also provides statistical information, setting a confidence level for the project cost.
Its GUI is simple and friendly to the user. It does not require any additional libraries or programs. A 30-day evaluation version allows the user to try all the features. Detailed documentation is included, and the website provides contact information for further support. Project Risk Analysis works on Windows 98/NT/2000/XP platforms.
